Our first doctors appointment!

Today we went to see our doctor for our two week check up. We didn't like being poked and messed with but the doctor says we are doing excellent. We have gained a little weight and now weigh four pounds eight ounces and are eighteen and half inches long. We are going to be tall like daddy or aunt Cyndy. :)

After a little over two loooong weeks....

We are all leaving the hospital!

Sophie and Ellie did so well for 35 weekers. They never actually needed the NICU, they just needed a little extra monitoring from the step down nursery. There were a few other babies that were born at 35 weeks as well in the nursery and sadly they are still all there.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to get them out of here. I feel truly blessed that our babies pulled through with no problems. We were prepared for the worst case scenario but we were lucky enough to end up with the best outcome. We have all been through so much these last few months and leaving the hospital means we are one step closer to coming home to Texas.

We miss all of our family and friends and wish that you could be here to witness our little miracles first hand. Just 4 more weeks.....
